ABSTRACT
Theoretical predictions for lepton-induced single-pion production (SPP) on $^{12}$C are revisited in order to assess the effect of different treatments current operator. On one hand we have asymptotic approximation, which consists replacing particle four-vectors that enter operator by their values, i.e., values out nucleus. other full calculation, is a more accurate approach problem. We also compare with results final nucleon described relativistic plane wave, rate distortion. The study performed several lepton kinematics, reproducing inclusive and semi-inclusive cross sections belonging low-$Q^2$ region (between 0.05 1 GeV$^2$), special interest charged-current (CC) neutrino-nucleus 1$\pi$ production. Inclusive electron compared experimental data. find non-trivial corrections comparable size distortion, namely, up 6\%, either increasing or diminishing prediction, shift distributions towards higher energy transfer. For sections, observe correction be prominent mainly at low outgoing kinetic energy. Finally, CC neutrino-induced 1$\pi^+$ production, reduction respect both plane-wave case.
