ABSTRACT
Tactile sensing represents a crucial technique that can enhance the performance of robotic manipulators in various tasks. This work presents novel bioinspired neuromorphic vision-based tactile sensor uses an event-based camera to quickly capture and convey information about interactions between their environment. The observes deformation flexible skin manufactured from cheap accessible 3D printed material, whereas rigid casing houses components together. is tested grasping stage classification task involving several objects using data-driven learning-based approach. results show proposed approach enables detect pressing slip incidents within speed 2 ms. fast perception properties makes it ideal candidate for safe different industries involve high-speed pick-and-place operations.
