ABSTRACT
In spite of astonishing advances and developments in remote sensing technologies, meeting the spatio-temporal requirements for flood hydrodynamic modeling remains a great challenge Earth Observation. The assimilation multi-source data 2D models participates to overcome such challenge. recently launched Surface Water Ocean Topography (SWOT) wide-swath altimetry satellite provides global coverage water surface elevation at high resolution. SWOT complementary observation radar optical images, increasing opportunity observe monitor events. This research work focuses on extent maps derived from Sentinel-1 C-SAR imagery data, as well in-situ level measurements. An Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) with joint state-parameter analysis is implemented top TELEMAC-2D model account errors roughness, input forcing depth floodplain subdomains. proposed strategy carried out an Observing System Simulation Experiment based 2021 event over Garonne Marmandaise catchment. makes most large volume heterogeneous space prediction hindcast mode paves way nowcasting.
