ABSTRACT
School-based agricultural education (SBAE) and its teachers must remain current with the times to be effective. Producing an abundance of competent, highly qualified, effective, SBAE is ongoing prerogative, measuring effective teaching in difficult due complexity uniqueness demands position. The purpose this study was identify self-perceived characteristics effectiveness nationwide. instrument for (ETI-SBAE), supported by a conceptual framework considering potential factors impacting teachers, used determine teacher scores non-experimental, descriptive survey research study. All across country were included study’s frame. After multiple rounds data collection, 2807 responded complete sets. It found that these are diverse have variety needs depending on state from which they their years experience. A wide range personal professional identified. Based composite sum score, who intended profession through retirement statistically significantly more than those did not intend retire or still undecided.
