ABSTRACT
Metastatic bone tumors were treated by reimplantation of the resected after autoclaving, with filling defects caused tumor resection using fresh autogenous grafts.Case 1. A 67-year-old woman lung cancer had a lytic lesion in right lesser trochanter. At operation, proximal quarter femur was excised and autoclaved. long-stem prosthesis then inserted through autoclaved remainder femur. She able to walk cane for 14 months operation until her death from metastatic brain tumor.Case 2. 56-year-old man Grawitz diaphysis left The resected, autoclaved, returned its bed. Küntcher nail used internal fixation.Case 3. 37-year-old breastt supra-acetabular ilium. an graft ilium THR also performed reconstruction.The mean follow-up period 11 months. All patients canes, no infection or local recurrence. Several authors have reported on advantages grafts treating primary tumors.Our results suggest that are attractive limb salvage procedure as well tumors.
