ABSTRACT
The Air-Q Self Pressurized Airway Device with Blocker (SP Blocker) was compared to the Proseal Laryngeal Mask (PLMA) during positive pressure ventilation regarding primary outcome (oropharyngeal leak [OLP]), secondary outcomes (peak inspiratory [PIP], inspired tidal volume [ITV], expired [ETV], [LV] and fraction [LF]), insertion time, score, fiber-optic glottis view postoperative laryngopharyngeal parameters (LPM).
