ABSTRACT
Software process improvement (SPI) approaches have been designed to produce changes at many levels, i.e. in the strategies, culture and working practices, of software development.Studies shown that nearly two thirds all SPI efforts failed or fallen short expectations.SPI today is based mainly on a perception processes as artifacts this has led focus perfecting such means improve practices people supposed execute these processes.Such thus tend view design separate from their use.In approach designers are expected provide knowledge developers, developers experiences problems designers. This implies an emphasis formalization externalization models possibly expense heads users.
