ABSTRACT

 Background and Objective: The Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) is a seven-item uni-dimensional scale assessing the severity concerns. A translation validation FCV-19S in Bahasa Indonesia language was expedited view worrying trends as well its psychological squeal.
 Methods: Formal WHO forward backward sequences were applied translating English into Indonesia. Indonesian university participants recruited via convenience sampling online using snowball methods. reliability validity psychometrically evaluated by applying confirmatory factor analysis Rasch relation to sociodemographic variables response depression, anxiety, stress components version DASS-21. sample consisted 434 participants.
 Results: Cronbach α value for FCV-19-I 0.819 indicated very good internal reliability. results showed that structure FCV19S fitted with data. significantly correlated anxiety (r= 0.705, p< 0.001) subscales FCV-19-I’s properties tested also satisfactory, although three items not able be tested.
 Conclusion: Hence, valid reliable, robust psychometric from classical modern It can valuable useful tool identifying responding distress caused COVID-19.
