ABSTRACT
According to a research done in 2015 by the Brazilian Architecture and Urbanism Council (CAU, Portuguese) Datafolha, more than 85% of country's population build without hiring an architect or engineer. The self-construction sector brings problems related low building performance high rate material losses.Having this scenario mind, paper proposes improvement traditional elements adding three main characteristics their process: faster execution walls through specific joint system between bricks that would eliminate need mortar; loss reduction creating complete family covers specificities wall-laying process interaction with hydro sanitary electrical systems. The developed is made concrete aggregates obtained from non-toxic mining waste. As theoretical background, brick production industry analyzed national regulations rule are also addressed. The target audience attributes product defined then, work finally presented. The result group five types (standard , half, corner blocks 1 2, bond beam block) same row subsequent ones.It concluded has reached desirable its formal aspects, presenting not only losses mentioned previously but greater agility process. The last aspect achieved thanks fact have approach dry construction, use mortar due adoption system.
