ABSTRACT
Objective: We aimed to investigate suspected cases of mushroom poisoning that were admitted the emergency department a metropolitan education and research hospital.Material Methods: Suspicious determined patients investigated in medical records who older than 18 years old 1 year.We examined patient's demographic information, admission date, complaints, time complaint starting, clinical laboratory findings.Treatments results evaluated. Results:We analyzed 74 diagnosed with poisoning.The most common complaints nausea vomiting.İncreases number observed November December.A total 25 externed from medicine, 39 hospitalized.5 treatment hemodialysis both them died. Conclusion:Mushroom is known vary according seasonal distribution, type mushroom, geographic shape, climate region.Therefore, physicians should characteristics ecology region so provision services can facility departments principles working organizated.The importance regional lost hospital.
