ABSTRACT
Previous studies have shown that miR-224 regulates the progression of liver cancer. The aim this study was to investigate underlying mechanisms. The miR-224, p-STAT3 and SMAD4 expression levels were checked with tissue or/and serum samples HCC patients by qRT-PCR or IHC methods. regulatory role IL-6 in investigated Western-blot. targeted gene verified both Western-blot luciferase reporter assay. Furthermore, carcinogenesis cell experiments vitro mouse xenograft model vivo imaging vivo.It found elevated patients. higher but lower tumor tissues. Moreover, can induce p-STAT3/STAT3 cells STAT3 played bridge between miR-224. Target 3'UTR SMAD4. Finally, promoting roles miR-224in growth, proliferation, invasion migration discovered studies. It implies may potentially represent a new target for developing novel anti-HCC therapeutics.
