ABSTRACT
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is an essential diagnostic and therapeutic method for pancreato-biliary disorders in adults, but its use pediatric populations remains limited. This study aims to evaluate the indications, technical success, safety of ERCP patients. A retrospective analysis all procedures performed on patients under 18 years age was conducted at 2 tertiary centers Türkiye (Harran University Gaziantep Hospital) during period between January 2013 May 2024. The data used were obtained from patients' medical records. total 153 83 (64%, female) with a mean 12.9 (range 3-17) time ERCP. Common bile duct stones most frequent indication (n = 39, 47%) ERCP, followed by biliary hydatid cyst-related complications 24, 29%). overall cannulation success rate 98.7% (82/83). sphincterotomy 79 (95%) More than one procedure 41 (49%) Stones extracted 32 (30 pancreatic). Stent placement 33 (25 8 Post-ERCP pancreatitis developed 4.8% 4) patients, classified as mild. Ten (12%) mild/moderate cholangitis following One patient (1.2%) experienced minor bleeding. About half (48%) discharged within 1 day postprocedure. No procedure-related mortality. Our results indicate that both effective safe population.
