ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to compare the long-term oncological results patients with diagnosis prostate cancer who underwent open radical retropubic prostatectomy (RRP) and subsequent adjuvant (ART) or salvage radiotherapy (SRT).A total 145 RRP for ART SRT postoperatively between 2010 2019. (n = 56) is defined as group prostate-specific antigen (PSA) <0.2 ng/mL positive lymph nodes without PSA increase received within first 6 months urinary continence. 89) >0.2 RT before amounted 0.5 ng/mL.Statistically no significant difference found groups in terms age, volume, final pathology Gleason scores, lymphadenectomy, duration androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), time relapse after radiotherapy, development biochemical recurrence disease progression. Extraprostatic extension, seminal vesicle invasion surgical margin positivity were significantly higher group. No recurrence-free survival, while cancer-specific survival overall rates group. It that better It will be more appropriate follow-up until then perform postoperative period.
