ABSTRACT
Many bird species breeding under optimal temperature conditions show higher reproductive success. However, less information can be found about how the output differs within one population and season. To find inter intra-seasonal differences in several aspects of ecology we monitored 223 breedings White-throated Dippers three river basins northern Slovakia (Central Europe) 2010–2018. We registered beginning egg laying, clutch size, nest success proportion second clutches. There were significant egg-laying commencement between seasons. The mean February March significantly influenced first day (20 February–18 March), median laying date (8 March–6 April), interval last all clutches season (37–50 days) (0.77%–0.95%). not only different initiation individual nests each was considerable affected by altitude particular their timing laying.
