ABSTRACT
Abstract. A newly developed charge transfer orthogonal Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (oToF-MS), was deployed for the first time in field order to evaluate its ability perform online real-time measurements of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) a prolonged period. The study focused on urban air sampling and targeted specific range VOCs, namely: acetone, isoprene, benzene, toluene, xylene. measurement campaign took place from May August 2023 at suburban area Athens Greece. measured VOC level were consistent with those reported previous summer campaigns suggesting that instrument did not face any unexpected problems moving laboratory field. variability various VOCs used gain insights about their sources. Transportation emissions dominant source BTX (benzene, toluene xylene). Acetone isoprene emitted by both anthropogenic biogenic During sources responsible most site.
