ABSTRACT
<p><strong>Introduction</strong>. Two structural zones are traditionally distinguished in the Eastern Urals. They Magnitogorsk zone and East Ural zone, which divided by a narrow suture. The Early Sudetian (Visean) orogenic phase is marked unconformity base of Upper Visean terrigenous-carbonate sequence both suture zone. According to drilling data granitic-pebble-bearing conglomerates present at this sequence. rearrangement implied end rifting initiation carbonate deposition.</p><p>The Pre-Sudetian basement comprised Lower Paleozoic deformed metamorphic rocks (gneisses, schists carbonaceous quartzites), clastic deposits Ordovician (wackes meta-arkoses) Carboniferous (greywackes), as well volcanic Tournasian-Early granitoids Neplyuevka complex, dated 355-340 Ma. represented igneous complexes Devonian – age.</p><p>This research aims determine source areas migration paths sediments for local basins associated with phase. conjunction two megazones could derive material from both.</p><p><strong>Materials methods</strong>. specimens were collected quarries near Novinka village where sandstones succession exposed. commonly cross-bedded, medium coarse-grained, have sub-arkose, arkose, greywacke or, sometimes, quartz-arenitic composition. 210 zircon grains extracted samples. 99 characterized discordancy no more than 5% been chosen evaluation age distribution parameters.</p><p><strong>Results discussion</strong>. dating results appeared be unexpected. Firstly, single analysis yielded isotope age, only grain Tournaisian age. Secondly, vast majority Cambrian ages, main peak corresponding beginning (480 Ma) secondary ones Late (450-460 Ma), Middle (510-520 (530-540 Ma).</p><p>So, not house zircone area basin derived However, study does contain any known suitable ages. detrital zircons are, fact, scarps host ages 478±5 Ma 529±6 Ma.</p><p><strong>Financial support</strong>. has funded RFBR CNF part project № 19-55-26009.
