ABSTRACT
The ClimXtreme program, funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research, focuses on assessment frequency intensity historical extreme events their impacts in Central Europe, association with dynamical thermodynamical processes how these might change according to enhanced anthropogenic climate forcing. program currently aims at development a basis for stakeholder decision making that consists data, software, information tailored needs. By means dedicated hazard specific interaction groups, relevant stakeholders researchers will develop knowledge base through two-way process. Social scientists explore communication process stakeholders. Within research post-event group be formed aiming rapid response project occurring during runtime. make use developed base, apply pre-defined methods workflows assess current diverse perspectives which are represented ClimXtreme. Both concept selected recent results highlighted.
