ABSTRACT
Lake Tziscao is one of the water bodies belonging to Lagunas de Montebello National Park, located in south-southeastern part state Chiapas, Mexico. Its importance lies its great tourist activity due size and nearby human settlement, which why there are numerous anthropogenic factors that promote transformation natural areas within it.In this work, PHREEQC software was used perform inverse hydrogeochemical modeling, with predominant processes site were identified estimated using 20 sampling points distributed along Tziscao.Prior execution model, a statistical analysis, simplification graphic representation samples, as well analysis carried out, whose comparison results coincide presence calcic-magnesic bicarbonate type waters, suggesting feasibility proposed model.Modeling indicate main present water-rock interaction area are: hydration anhydrite subsequent dissolution-precipitation gypsum large proportion, minimal transfer or equilibrium carbonate minerals halides such calcite, dolomite, sylvite halite, nonetheless, concentrations elements nitrogen phosphorus body suggest pollution sources, while relatively low salinity indicates waters poorly evolved have been transported lesser extent.
