ABSTRACT
The Diarium of the Jesuit order at Trenčín written in Latin contains systematic daily weather records (with some interruptions) from 8 November 1701 to 10 January 1710. Daily this period were kept by two administrators dormitory (“regens convictus”) Ján Garajský and Juraj Košetič. After death 1702, are interrupted, so winter season 1702/03 is without any information. With arrival his successor Košetič, such data appear only gradually course 1703. Records related temperature precipitation patterns, cloudiness, as well frequencies different phenomena fogs, thunderstorms, strong winds.
