ABSTRACT
Since 2010, the Centre for Monitoring of Vectors (CMV) Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), has a surveillance programme in place to detect control invasive mosquito species (IMS) at locations with increased risk importation. At premises companies that import used tyres from areas, CMV implements using adult traps. In case an IMS finding tyre company location, monitoring is intensified here (weekly sampling, additional BG-Sentinel traps larval sampling), as well within predefined area radius 500 m limits location. On September 6 th , 2021, eight Aedes larvae were found sample taken water-containing bucket. These both morphologically molecularly (Illumina sequencing) identified koreicus . Additional sampling this first site Ae. Netherlands, which was followed by larvicides, did not lead further findings species.
