This paper presents the most relevant results of a study dealing with perception that Primary Education students have what characterizes an excellent teacher. Among other aims, we tried to identify attributes, skills or values are found be characteristic close-toexcellent teachers. We also studied impact such teachers on their students. From methodological perspective, valuable aspect this research is its open and interactive nature. so because characteristics been related influence believe them. The conclusions corroborate well-known fact there no unique ideal teacher model. profile obtained as close student, sensitive, demanding, enthusiastic, having good for didactic communication, interaction, planning, well control teaching/learning process evaluation.
