ABSTRACT
The current situation regarding fuel-wood consumption among rural households in Ghana was assessed relation to its determinant factors. Response from the 207 household heads randomly selected six regions showed that majority rely on for cooking, heating of water, warming their houses, lighting and ironing. uses were found be associated with some challenges including scent smoke food, issues supply, inability use fuel-wood during wet season slow cooking. logistic regression model employed also explained employment, income level Liquefied Petroleum Gas usage significantly influenced as energy respondents.
