ABSTRACT
Herbicides used on a regular basis could endanger non-target species like earthworms. The aim of this work was to test the toxic effect atrazine and metribuzin Aporrectodea caliginosa by filter paper contact soil mixing techniques. Atrazine had highest intrinsic toxicity earthworms, with LC50 0.026 µg mL-1 after 72 hr treatment. While 0.063 test. reduced from 11.121 3.118 164.824 19.113 μg g soil-1 in clay soil, 32.221 17.33 324.141 41.028 (1:1) 41.234 30.804 462.255 70.902 sandy loam 5 10 day. Generally, is more than both tests.
