ABSTRACT
Triatoma pallidipennis is an exclusive and widely distributed species in Mexico one of the three main vectors that transmit Chagas disease country. The state Hidalgo endemic area for where presence several triatomines has been reported. objective our work was to describe morphology, colonization process, reproductive behavior T. Guadalupe, Tecozautla, two years after first collection a specimen this region. A total 28 specimens collected at both domicile peridomicile, showing 17.8% infection rate. site woodshed, despite adults dwelling, we did not find eggs, exuviae, or nymphs. One female monitored from day until death laid 566 with hatching rate 95%, increase oviposition when cohabited male. results showed capacity infest areas (mainly human dwellings) it settles down, which would imply risk population lives locality.
