ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus is a well-established independent risk factor for myocardial infarction (MI) and other cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). According to the American Heart Association (AHA) 2023 Report, individuals with diabetes are 2 4 times more likely develop coronary artery disease (CAD) MI compared non-diabetic subjects. The study was conducted find efficacy of structured exercise protocol training in post-angioplasty subjects type II patients Total 168 were selected, met inclusion exclusion criteria, randomly divided into two groups. Group A (n= 84) received conventional physiotherapy lifestyle Modifications B 6 months. Subjects evaluated based on pre post-assessment by HBAIC, shuttle walk test, waist-hip ratio. Both groups showed significant improvement but much as A. (HbA1c-3%, ratio 9%, functional capacity (VO₂ max (p < 0.001), SWT distance SpO₂ levels 0.001)), indicating rejection null hypothesis acceptance Given robust evidence supporting benefits cardiac rehabilitation, it should be incorporated standard post-MI care protocols improve long-term outcomes.
