ABSTRACT
Active methodologies can be important allies in nursing education, favoring greater preparation of future professionals. In this context, the need to rethink professional training in health emerges as a problem, because in it, a sharp criticality is essential for the complex assembly of the patient's symptoms. of nursing professionals. The study is a literature review, descriptive, qualitative, carried out between July and December 2022 with data collection on the SCIELO, BVS and Google Scholar platforms. The use of active methodologies enables professionals to take a more holistic look at the patient and their biopsychosocial context, using various methodological tools for this. There is a lot of talk about hybrid technologies, which combine classroom activities with digital activities, and face-to-face activities with virtual ones. Therefore, active methodologies favor students' protagonism in their formative process, making them more critical-reflective and better prepared for the new realities in health.
