ABSTRACT
Background Phyllodes Tumor (PT) is a rare fibroepithelial tumor of the breast. It has variants that are benign, borderline, and malignant. The malignant variant is known to exhibit the most aggressive characteristics, characterized by a rapid progression and extensive affected areas. This indicates that during the resection process, extensive skin defects will arise, necessitating extensive reconstructions for its coverage. Such reconstructions include extended latissimus dorsi flaps, double TRAM flap, DIEP, or combined flaps (TRAM and latissimus dorsi flaps). The outcome of these patients is poor in the short-medium term.
