ABSTRACT
Topology optimization methods offer an interesting tool for architects and engineers as a rational basis the choice of structure's initial form, particularly developments in computer software are compatible with this approach.This can be argued from ecology, resource savings, static load design, fi nancial number other pragmatic reasons.But artistic/architectural perspective these not decisive.Analogical design qualities include tectonic appreciation properties materials, metaphoric interpretation intention considerations context.The paper describes attempt to unify analytic analogical approaches architectural education setting, using topology software.It uses examples recent student projects where process based on approach has been investigated.The presents results obtained by students during project.Further, discussion is delivered concerning improved understanding projects.
