ABSTRACT
This paper describes the systematic preparation of doped and undoped TiO2 with Er and/or Yb nanoparticles by hydrothermal-assisted sol-gel method using supercritical drying ethanol followed calcination steps at 500°C, 800°C 1000°C for 2/h. The structural study these powders XRD reveals that our samples are crystalline a tetragonal structure anatase phase, which is well crystallized 500°C. annealing transformation phase to rutile 1000°C. analysis clearly indicates dopants incorporated into network without any segregation-taking place in nanoparticles. grain sizes has shown they nanometric size around 8-12 nm their decrease doping. elemental analyses micro-EDX SEM confirmed presence chemical elements expected atomic ratios. images observations. In addition, attest spherical shape. optical excitation 488 shows three emission bands green zone red zone. heat treatment improves optical, spectroscopic properties eliminates contaminations due conditions.
