ABSTRACT
Introduction: Goal oriented care (GOC) and its readiness for implementation has been described in scientific literature, but research on GOC primary organisations is limited. This study aims to capture the experiences of implementing their context. Method: A qualitative study, with data triangulation, was conducted. Primary that experimented context were followed. Data analysed using inductive thematic analysis. Results: Seven themes supporting identified. Project leaders from experienced related concepts can serve as a foundation initiating GOC. The process an iterative reflective process, resistance viewed integral part offering opportunities reflection. Collaborating partners, especially active participation patients, seen facilitator. Furthermore, having clear vision necessary. Projects invested adapting tools processes align provided relevant training. Discussion conclusion: findings led recommendations guide future projects.
