ABSTRACT
Background: Cancer is a significant global health challenge. One of the biggest issues that cancer patients face depression and anxiety. This has impact on their quality life treatment outcomes. Aim: The aim this study was to investigate frequency anxiety among in Qatar. Materials methods: cross-sectional design using Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) scales. A total 500 were surveyed from National Center for Care Research Doha. Results: found proportion suffered depression, with an average PHQ-9 score indicating mild levels severity. Depression commonly categorized as mild, smaller percentage experiencing moderate, moderate-to-severe, or severe depression. Additionally, predominantly anxious, reflected by GAD-7 score, most moderate symptoms, while few experienced These findings highlight prevalence both patients, pointing importance comprehensive mental support.
