ABSTRACT
This study explored the relationship between key components of Positive Youth Development (PYD) — Competence, Confidence, Social Connection, Character, and Care varying anxiety levels in adolescents. The objective was to identify how these correlate with highlight areas where interventions could be focused support mental well-being. utilized descriptive correlational analyses data collected from a sample adolescents (N=92). Five C PYD were measured alongside levels, which categorized into minimal, mild, moderate, severe. Descriptive statistics, such as means, medians, modes, standard deviations, calculated for each component category. Regression analysis performed examine severity. showed that all had moderately high average values, Competence (M=3.3, SD=0.7), Confidence (M=3.1, SD=0.8), Connection (M=3.4, SD=0.6) being most prominent. revealed significant negative correlations higher lower anxiety, especially categories moderate severe anxiety. predictive stronger observed categories.
