ABSTRACT
Background: The SF-36 as a generic instrument has been used widely to evaluate health-related quality of life in both healthy subjects and groups patients. However, no data can be found on its performance patients with Graves' disease. Hence, this study aimed assess the reliability, validity, responsiveness Chinese population Methods: A total 325 disease completed interviews that included SF-36. Internal consistency was measured by Cronbach's ? item-scale correlations. validity studied means factor analysis association scale sociodemographic clinical variables. standardized response mean change. Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) scores correlated negatively at physical functioning, general health, social vitality, role limitations due emotional problems subscales, while HARS only mental health subscale.
