Dilemmas in Teaching Happiness

ABSTRACT
There is a burgeoning amount of research into happiness and greatly increased popular attention, so it seems logical to add course on the university curriculum. We encountered, in developing running such course, number dilemmas that topic makes especially acute. Should teacher remain separate from class, as an authority, or participate group activities? Is primary goal class learn content change relationship students world? What does mark for learning signify if habits goal? one be happy and, so, this conflict with student learning? These reflect larger questions about purpose education. This paper reflects those through our experience formulating delivering new happiness.
