ABSTRACT
Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is a major gastrointestinal disorder in premature infants associated with high morbidity and mortality rates.When NEC clinically suspected, radiological laboratory studies should be performed to confirm the diagnosis aid management of patients.As clinical manifestations are usually nonspecific, diagnoses often made using abdominal radiographic findings, such as pneumatosis intestinalis.Clinicians typically consider presence intestinalis on radiographs definite evidence stage II NEC.Here, we report 3 cases preterm who had findings but did not have any other NEC, except bloody stools.The infants' systemic were mild or absent, all them completely recovered within 2-3 days, demonstrated by resolution radiographs.The combination hematochezia intestinal strongly suggests NEC.In our cases, there was no inflammation platelet consumption, course benign without sings surgical abdomen.Additionally, patients barium-induced colitis milk protein allergy, which possible causes intestinalis.Because can result from than it important clinical, laboratory, NEC.
