ABSTRACT
To determine the effect of size and insertion depth irrigation needle on amount apical extruded debris penetration sealer using a confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM).Twenty maxillary premolars were assigned to 2 groups (n = 10), according tip, 28 G or 30 G. Buccal roots samples irrigated with respective type inserted 1 mm short working length (WL), while palatal 3 WL. Prepared teeth removed from pre-weighed Eppendorf tubes. Canals filled F3 gutta-percha cone rhodamine B dye-labeled AH 26 sealer. Teeth transversally sectioned at levels apex observed under CLSM. tubes incubated evaporate irrigant weighed again. The difference between pre- post-weights was calculated, statistical evaluation performed.Inserting needles closer wider diameters associated significantly more extrusion (p < 0.05). position level sections had statistically significant effects 0.05 for both).Following preparation, inserting narrower compatible final diameter prepared root canal WL during might prevent improve in third.
