At present, China's urbanization process is accelerating, urban pressure gradually increasing, and problems are becoming more serious. The GIS technology based on the powerful analysis function of computer provides a new solution response strategy for construction smart cities. This paper focuses application in city construction, mainly involving platform, resource integration, transportation, planning emergency management. And role 3D visualization, spatial real-time data sharing this basis, future industry prospected.
