Since the end of 2019, we have faced a COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic with SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2). Medical institutions must treat patients while preventing health care workers and other from nosocomial infections. also needs to be considered in case radiation emergency medicine. Although radioactive materials (RI) are different, they much common risk management when receive such that undetectable by all our five senses require personal protective equipment (PPE). On hand, there some notable points on preparedness response for their management. We cannot detect real-time but can sterilize them alcohol-based hand sanitizer. RI is difficult decontaminated entirely detectable suitable survey instrument. Under situation, it great challenge deal simultaneously protection an infection control, especially situation exposure. In order overcome difficulty, at first compare similarity difference between exposure infection. Then attention introduced how manage radio-contaminated coexistence SARS-CoV-2, including fundamental concept zoning, PPE, hand-over equipment.
