ABSTRACT
Aim: To evaluate the results of locking anatomic plate fixation method with volar intervention according to age groups in surgical treatment unstable radius distal end fractures involving joint. Materials and Methods: In this study, 72 adult patients who were treated open reduction locked due fracture group C AO classification between August 2010 2018 evaluated retrospectively. All our for a post-op range motion. We divided ranges into four groups: Group 1 ages 17-30, 2 30-45, 3 45-60, 4 over 60. Results: The mean values joint motion grip strength all were; flexion 70.95° (Group 76.87°, 74.00°, 66.96°, 64.16°), extension 67.38° 71.87°, 68.33°, 61.15° and, 61.16°), radial deviation 27.02° 32.50°, 29.67°, 23,08° 21.67°), ulnar 32.86° 38.75°, 36.33°, 28.46°, 25.83°), supination 77.74° 85.0°, 79.67°, 74.62°, 70.0°), pronation 82.50° 85.62°, 84.33°, 82.69°, 73.33°). Analysis data revealed negative correlation patient post-operative Our findings indicate statistically significant difference among 4, 1, patients. Conclusion: Volar surgery type is suitable thanks rigid early mobilization.
