ABSTRACT
Polycystic ovary syndrome characterized by irregular menstruation, high serum androgen levels and infertility in the reproductive period. New markers are being studied to facilitate diagnosis. Asprosin is a peptide that synthesized during fasting stimulates glucose production from liver. High of asprosin have been found be associated with obesity, insulin resistance diabetes. The aim answer question 'Can level used as marker initial diagnosis PCOS adolescents without any disease?'. A total 65 people between ages 12-18 who applied Antalya Training Research Hospital Gynecology Obstetrics Polyclinic June 2020 January 2021 were included study. group was divided into two 38 patients newly diagnosed 27 healthy control groups pathology. When cases compared, it observed significantly higher (p=0.004). This study showing can PCOS. It should supported other studies.
