ABSTRACT
The critical view of projectification and the broader perspective on constant connectivity have produced insights that question conventional wisdom. However, how project practices are mediated by is under-explored under-theorized. We conduct a case study interplay between consulting work to address this gap. Our findings point three potential insights. First, we highlight projects in focal context characterized clockwork coordination logic. Second, show there affinity front-stage synchronous smartphone affordances one hand as well backstage asynchronous other. Third, describe give rise decoupling legacy timespace from while reinforcing front- stage practices. extends literature via highly nuanced differentiated understanding phenomena.
