ABSTRACT
Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis infection. About 60% of the world's population has been infected. cerebri one most common opportunistic infections in central nervous system HIV patients. The disease acute and chronic, with mild symptoms are non-specific so it difficult to distinguish from other diseases or often asymptomatic. incidence Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) occupies highest place Asia high morbidity mortality. ranked top 10 as a direct mortality, variable reactivation. purpose study: detect blood samples patients HIV/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). In immunocompromised conditions, especially HIV/AIDS, severe complications will arise, which toxsoplasma encephalitis (TE). rate mortality TE HIV/AIDS patients, around 30-40%, makes accurate diagnosis important. Research Methods: study design used was cross sectional determine level IgG Gondii antibodies serologically. research subjects were 30 individual who positive for infection, would be screened levels then see correlation lifestyle food consumed. achievement target this find out whether have through serological tests, appropriate therapy education given treatment toxoplasmosis, these results published scientifically national journals, become paper material scientific meetings.
