ABSTRACT
Gout is a type of arthritis that causes painful inflammation in one or more joints. In gout, an increase uric acid the blood triggers formation crystals, causing joint pain. Indonesia country rich biodiversity medicinal plant species. Therefore, its flora offers promising therapy for which Andrographis paniculata Nees. This study aims to obtain leaf extract A. through application ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) with variations time and amplitude produce optimal conditions. Then obtained was subjected phytochemical screening, total phenolic content test test. The results screening using UAE contained saponins, phenols, tannins alkaloids. high has effect on potential reducing levels. Sample B variation 35 minutes 65% showed highest levels compared other samples, were 1104.53 ± 0.5 mg GAE/g 72.81±0.2 %, respectively. From study, it can be concluded from leaves good as anti-gout agent.
