ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the factors influencing development of self-care activity, and association between mobility activity in children with cerebral palsy (CP). Methods A total 63 CP aged ≥4 years, were studied retrospectively. Children severe intellectual disability or behavioral problems excluded. The relationship Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS), Manual Ability (MACS), Pediatric Evaluation Disability Inventory (PEDI) was analyzed. Simple multiple linear regression analyses conducted for continuous variables, such as verbal intelligence quotient (IQ) PEDI subscales. Results Final evaluation done 25 children, ranging from 4 to 11 years age. According GMFCS levels, differences PEDI-self-care scores, showed statistically borderline significance (p=0.051). Conversely, scores according types MACS levels not significant. analysis that social function significantly influence self-care. Multiple only factor ≥7 (R2=0.875, p=0.03).
