ABSTRACT
To evaluate the effectiveness of a squatting posture grading system established to screen for limited ankle dorsiflexion. The squat categorizes subjects' into three grades. Grade 1 is defined as being able maintain with heels on ground in full dorsiflexion without effort. 2 perform same position, but unable position more than 5 seconds or requiring trunk and leg muscle efforts position. 3 falling backwards immediately if attempted touch heels. Next, angles were directly measured knee flexed extended by goniometer. Out 92 total subjects, 35 grade 1, 18 2, 39 3. average angle 23.13° 16.03° 9.31° 15.16° 7.92° 3.40° Ankle showed significant decrease from (p<0.05). this study effectively graded subjects based difference their angle. This could be used quick screening method
