Knowledge, Attitude, and Performance of Nurses toward Hand Hygiene in Hospitals

ABSTRACT
The proper hand hygiene is one of the foremost techniques to reduce Nosocomial infections. deemed as simplest method for control infections if it done properly may prevent from a lot costs and fatalities. Due constant relationship with patients, nurses play paramount role in execution among clinical personnel. current study was carried out order analyze knowledge, attitude, performance regarding hygiene.A cross-sectional conducted on 200 (of 240) three hospitals Kerman city at east Iran 2015. standardized questionnaire tool data collection. These entered SPSS (V.22). frequency percentage descriptive statistics employed analysis. confidence interval considered 95%.The results showed that majority participants were male173 (86.5%), had BA degree 161 (80.5%) married 155 (70.5%). Most 77 (38.5%) working experience (5-10years). good knowledge 149 (74.5%), positive attitude 141 (70.5%) 175 (87.5%).The are level terms but improvement their seems be more necessary by holding educational classes courses cases where they have less knowledge.
