ABSTRACT
The present work incorporates new distributional records of the genus Bombus (Hymenoptera: Apoidea) from Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve (NDBR) Western Himalaya covering some major habitats/localities. A total nine species were collected viz. B. albopleuralis, asiaticus, festivus, jacobsoni, keriensis, melanurus, rufofasciatus, simillimus and tunicatus distributed over five subgenera with elevation ranging 2500-3500 masl. Out was already recorded study area (Gupta, 1997). remaining eight documented for first time; observed to be most prominent respect number males. identified comprised individuals worker male castes. In addition, food plants these bees also time.
