The main legislation applied to machines in Brazil is the Regulatory Standard 12 (NR-12) dealing with Workplace Safety machinery and equipment which was approved by Ordinance No. 3241 June 8th, 1978 Ministry of Labour. NR-12 defines technical references, fundamental principles protective measures ensure health physical integrity workers. In this context, goal work suggest security a pneumatic press tobacco according Regulation 12, as well workers safety. We utilized risk evaluation method known HRN (Hazard Rating Number) offer greater precision checks on machines. Our results indicate that should be adopted for implementation presses.
