Antecedente de Ansiedade, Síndrome do Pânico ou Depressão e Análise do Impacto na Qualidade de Vida em Estudantes de Medicina

ABSTRACT
High competition for results, too many study hours, courses with a huge hours total,  among other reasons, are pointed out as causes the high rate of anxiety and depression in medical students. This work aims to evaluate impact previous doctor-diagnosed history anxiety, panic syndrome or on quality life students religion through cross-section application World Health Organization questionnaire assess its short format (WHOQOL-BREF), plus questions related depression, where their families reside 405 from Sao Paulo, Brazil. The results showed that prior diagnosed by doctors (34.57%) had lower life, an index demonstrated four domains: physical, psychological, social environmental, when compared group without (p <0.005). Students who have better higher rates psychological domain whose live cities (Fisher exact test = 0.014). Conclusion: no show worst indices should be monitored support programmes during school, emphasis cities. Special improve well-being studied implemented.
