ABSTRACT
To identify factors that influence the patient safety climate of a hospital institution. Cross-sectional study carried out with multidisciplinary team private in Central-West Brazil 2019. An instrument covering sociodemographic and work aspects Safety Attitudes Questionnaire – Short Form 2006 were used for data collection. The analyzed through Kruskal Wallis, Mann-Whitney, Spearman’s, Nemenyi Fisher’s tests. 293 healthcare providers participated study, mean age 36 years, 72.01% female, 35.49% complete high school education. Data revealed an unfavorable (mean=73.53). Among domains, job satisfaction presented highest score (mean=83.28), while perception management unit showed greater fragility (mean=67.40). domain Patient training last 12 months led to increase 5.64 climate. A negative was found, significant from intention leave job. evidence confirms importance continuous investments research, as trained professionals have more critical wider view processes, positive factor constructive sustainable changes.
